Jeffrey Earnhardt will make his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in the Built Ford Tough 200 Friday, September 3, 2010. The fourth generation driver will pilot the No. 47 Rick Ware Racing entry.
“I’m excited to be back in an RWR truck, and I can’t thank Fuel Doctor enough for their support," said Earnhardt. "I’m ready to get to Kentucky and jump behind the wheel again. It seems like it has been forever since Gateway.”
Earnhardt made his Truck Series debut at Gateway in July after making two Nationwide Series starts in the No. 40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet last season. The son of Kerry Earnhardt and grandson of Dale Earnhardt is working hard to pass NASCAR's approval process for drivers with limited experience on superspeedways. “In this business, respect is king. It’s hard to earn and easy to lose. I know NASCAR will be watching me for the approval process, but I want to earn the respect of my competitors. Obviously, That can’t happen in one race, but I’m looking for a solid, clean finish this weekend for the team and myself,” Earnhardt explained. The Built Ford Tough 200 is set for Friday night at 8:00 pm ET on SPEED. MORE NASCAR NEWS
