For the first time in his career James Buescher is leading the 2011 Camping World Truck Series point standings after finishing 10th in Friday night's race at Atlanta. A great accomplishment for the 21-year-old considering he missed the Phoenix race in February.
Buescher was second to Johnny Sauter in the tight Truck Series championship battle going into the Atlanta race. Sauter had trouble early in the 200-mile event and finished 29th.
Only 17 points separate the top four drivers with eight races remaining on the 2011 Truck Series schedule.
