Austin Dillon led a contingent of Chevrolet's in both NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice sessions Friday at Kentucky Speedway. Chevrolet Silverado’s occupied eight of the top 10 spots on the speed chart in the opening round and nine of the top 10 in the final practice for Saturday's Kentucky 225.
Nelson Piquet, Jr. was second in the first practice followed by Ricky Carmichael, Johnny Sauter and Joey Coulter.
Completing the top five in Happy Hour was Piquet, Ron Hornaday, Jr., Matt Crafton and Coulter.
The second practice was extended by 15 minutes after Blake Feese hit the backstretch wall in the No. 32 Turner Motorsports entry.
SPEED will televise Saturday's Truck Series qualifying and race with live coverage from Kentucky Speedway beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
