Denny Hamlin used an inside move to pass leaders Austin Dillon and Ron Hornaday, Jr. on a late race restart and powered away to his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win Saturday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway.
"It really means a lot to me," Hamlin said after parking the No. 18 KBM Toyota in Victory Lane. "I gave it everything I had those last 50 laps."
Hornaday finished second followed by Austin Dillon, Johnny Sauter and Joey Coulter.
Sixth through 10th were Kevin Harvick, Cale Gale, Timothy Peters, Brendan Gaughan and James Buescher.
Dillon extended his point lead to 11 over Buescher with Hornaday and Sauter tied for third, 15 behind.
