Harvick Dominates CampingWorld.com 200

kevin-harvickKevin Harvick started from the pole in Saturday's CampingWorld.com 200 and led 143 of the 160-lap NASCAR Truck Series race Friday afternoon at Gateway International Raceway to win in dominating style.

 

Harvick crossed the finish line 5.241 seconds ahead of runnerup Brad Keselowski followed by Johnny Sauter, Todd Bodine and Matt Crafton.

NASCAR Truck Race Postponed

jeffrey-earnhardtNASCAR and Gateway International Raceway officials were forced to postpone Friday night's CampingWorld.com 200 NASCAR Truck Series race due to a power outage in the area.

 

The race has been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm ET.

 

“We received word from the power company that the repairs are expected to take hours,” track officials said in a statement. “So we will postpone the race until 12:30 Saturday. Due to this inconvenience, we will honor tickets for Saturday’s race.”

Harvick Cops First Career NASCAR Truck Pole

kevin-harvickKevin Harvick earned his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pole Friday at Gateway International Raceway after circling the 1.25-mile track at 133.325 mph.

 

James Buescher and Brad Keselowski tied for the second spot with identical laps at 133.266 mph. Justin Loftin and Johnny Sauter rounded out the top-five qualifiers for the CampingWorld.com 200.

 

Austin Dillon, Timothy Peters, Ron Hornaday, Jr., Matt Crafton and Brian Ickler start sixth through tenth.
