The Meijer 300 Presented by Ritz Nationwide Series event on Saturday, June 13 will feature an all-time high purse of $1,507,996. The accomplishment of the record was made part by a $50,000 Nationwide Insurance "Dash 4 Cash" bonus.

Not only will the drivers in the Nationwide Series compete for the victory, but also the minimum $93,395 first place payout that comes with it.

Nationwide chose the June event at Kentucky as one of the four races to participate in the contest which began in April at Nashville Superspeedway. The "Dash 4 Cash" program awards the victor $25,000 given the winner is a full-time driver in the Nationwide Series.

The Nashville event saw part-time Nationwide Series driver Joey Logano take the win, rolling the $25,000 bonus over to the race at Kentucky.

At the end of the contest, the driver with the highest amount of accumulated points through the four elected races will receive a $50,000 bonus.

The August 1 race at Iowa Speedway and the October 24 showdown at Memphis Motorsports Park are the final to events selected for the challenge.

"We wanted to provide some additional support for drivers on our series," said John Aman, associate vice president of strategic sponsorships for Nationwide. "We also hope that these bonuses encourage competition and contribute to more exciting racing for the fans."
