For the second week in a row the No. 32 Braun Racing Toyota will feature a new face behind the windshield. Although he has driven for the team this year, David Reutimann has yet to take control of the No. 32 Dollar General Camry.
This weekend’s Kroger 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis will be the first of five races that Reutimann occupies the driver’s seat of the Braun Racing entry. “I am excited to be racing at ORP in Braun Racing’s Dollar General Toyota,” said Reutimann. “This is the first of five races that I will be running with the No. 32 team. They have been incredibly strong this year, putting some great cars on the track with talented drivers. I’m looking forward to working with Trent (Owens, crew chief of the No. 32) and the Dollar General team.”

Brian Ickler will practice the car for Reutimann since he is participating in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Earning a best finish of third in 2007, the 39 year old Florida native is aiming for Victory Lane this weekend for Dollar General. “Indy has not been the best track for me in the past,” admitted Reutimann. “I did run well here in 2007 when I had someone else practice and qualify the car. Brian Ickler will be helping us out this weekend with practice so hopefully we will have a very positive race. I would love nothing more than to conquer this track with a win and put Dollar General in victory lane.” MORE NASCAR NEWS
