Herd Racing announced that the team would call on Brett Rowe to drive the No. 75 Chevrolet NASCAR Nationwide Series entry in the two road course races at Watkins Glen International on August 8 and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on August 29.
For the past three seasons Rowe has driven a part-time schedule in the Nationwide Series, earning an average finish of 34th in 20 races. Rowe will drive Chevrolet’s in both races with engines being provided by Richard Childress Racing. Herd Racing is still searching for sponsorship for both events.
“I have been trying to get back into the seat of a nationwide car for a while now and I am really excited to get the chance at Watkins Glen,” said Rowe. “We hope to put a solid effort in with the No. 75 Herd Racing Chevrolet. I would also like to thank Morgan Shepherd and his Crew for helping me out with everything.” MORE NASCAR NEWS
