NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Brian Scott will try his hand in the Nationwide Series for the 6th time this season at Kansas Speedway on Saturday.
This year in his Camping World Truck Series No. 16 Albertsons Toyota Tundra, Scott has accumulated one victory, 7 top-5 finishes and 12 top-10’s out of the 20 races run. He broke his arm at Michigan earlier this summer and has still managed to be successful despite having to wear a cast. Scott is currently 4th in the Camping World Truck Series point standings. In his five previous starts in the Nationwide Series this year, Scott has also faired pretty well. His highest finish came at Phoenix in April; he finished 15th. Overall, his average finish is 24.3. This weekend he will get behind the wheel of the No. 11 Ridemakerz Toyota for CJM Racing. Mike Bliss piloted that ride last weekend at Dover and finished 2nd; Bliss will be driving the No. 40 StopRepairBills.com Chevrolet for Key Motorsports in this weekend’s event. The Camping World Truck Series has almost a month off but Scott will be back in his Tundra at Martinsville on October 24th. MORE NASCAR NEWS
