The debut of the “Sun Runner” paint scheme by Rheem Manufacturing Company set for Phoenix International Raceway for Saturday’s Able Body Labor 200.  The paint scheme was brought forth by Rheem to raise awareness for their solar water heater systems, a green product designed to help save valuable energy.

Rheem is one of the world’s largest producers of residential and commercial water heaters, heating and cooling equipment, swimming pool heaters, commercial boilers, and a leading producer of energy efficient solar water heaters, with over 80 years of water heating leadership and 50 years of solar technology.

Kevin Harvick will drive the Kevin Harvick Inc. No.33 Rheem “Sun Runner” Chevrolet in Saturday’s race at Phoenix International Raceway.  This will be Harvick’s 22nd start of the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Season.  Harvick has 2 wins and 13-top five finishes, with an average finish of 8.8 so far this season.

“In addition to providing affordable solar water heating to nearly 5,000 homes, we anticipate that the program will immediately create more than 100 jobs in Nevada and increase capital in the area by approximately $12 million,” said Jeff Mahoney, Rheem alternative energy market manager.
