NASCAR Nationwide Series - John Wes Townley
Written by Lindsey Marks
Friday, 18 December 2009 00:00

john-wes-townleyIn early November, Richard Childress Racing announced that John Wes Townley would drive for the team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010.

2009 was Townley’s rookie season in NASCAR’s number two series since he only ran three races the year before.

Townley also made seven starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2008 with a best finish of 18th which he earned twice.

Townley’s rookie Nationwide season was pretty rocky with a handful of failed qualifying attempts and a season-best finish of 16th but his future looks promising.john-wes-townley

Under the tutelage of Richard Childress, Townley will have the support he needs to further develop his skills behind the wheel and really show what he is made of in 2010.
