NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne will once again get behind the wheel of a Great Clips sponsored car at Daytona International Speedway this weekend for the Nationwide Series season opener.
Kahne, who brought Great Clips their first win in 2003, will drive the No. 38 Great Clips Camry for Braun Racing with Stewart Cooper on top of the pit box. When the green flag flies on Saturday, February 13th for the start of the DRIVE4COPD 300, Great Clips will become the longest running sponsor in the Nationwide Series. Kahne is excited to be driving the familiar car and is hoping to get to Victory Lane.
"I'm really looking forward to climbing back in that familiar Great Clips car. It's awesome to be able to partner up with Great Clips again after all this time. I got my start with them as my sponsor back in 2003, and that's something I have never forgotten,” Kahne said. “We are not running for a championship so my ultimate goal is take this Great Clips team back to victory lane. If we can get it done right out of the gate here at Daytona, it would be awesome!" MORE NASCAR NEWS
