Menard, Biffle Lead Nationwide Practices

paul-menardPaul Menard led the first round of NASCAR Nationwide Series practice today at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Greg Biffle topping the charts in the final practice session as the drivers and teams prepare for Saturday's Sam's Town 300.

 

Menard posted a speed of 179.868 mph in the early practice, besting Greg Biffle's lap at 179.313. Carl Edwards recorded the third quickest lap while Kyle Busch and Brian Vickers were fourth and fifth fastest.greg-biffle

 

Biffle led final practice for the Nationwide Series with a speed of 182.291 mph in the #27 Ford followed by Carl Edwards, Trevor Bayne, Brian Scott and Brian Vickers.

 

NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying is scheduled for 12:00 noon ET Saturday, February 27.
