Key Motorsports announced today that long time sponsor Western Companies has agreed to an eight race sponsorship of the NASCAR Nationwide Series #40 team for 2010, beginning at Richmond on April 30.
"Westerman Companies have agreed to remain a partner with Key Motorsports in 2010," said Curtis Key. "We at Key Motorsports appreciate the opportunity to continue to grow and build the Westerman Companies brand through our Nationwide Series program. Their commitment to Key Motorsports has allowed steady growth throughout the entire organization and I want to thank them for their participation with our race team."
2010 will mark the fourth consecutive season that Westerman has sponsored Key Motorsports. The association began in 2007 when Key Motorsports was competing in the NASCAR Truck Series. "We are pleased to be a part of Key Motorsports again in 2010," said a Westerman Companies spokesperson. "We initially partnered with Key Motorsports in 2007 when they were a NASCAR Truck Series team and have continued to grow with them in the sport of auto racing for four years now. They have made great strides over the past four years and it is our belief they will continue to move forward in NASCAR. Key Motorsports has represented our company well and we look forward to being at the track with them for eight Nationwide Series races this year." The Key Motorsports #40 Chevrolet will carry the Westerman Companies logo Friday, April 30th for the Richmond 250 at Richmond International Raceway; Saturday, June 12th for the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway; Friday, July 2nd for the Subway Jalapeno 250 Powered By Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway; Saturday, July 24th for the Kroger 200 Benefiting Riley Hospital For Children at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis; Friday, August 20th for the Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway; Saturday, September 25th for the Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway; Friday, October 15th for the Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway; and Saturday, November 20th for the season-ending Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
