Key Motorsports team owner Curtis Key announced late Thursday that Southern Pride Woodburning BBQ Pits & Smokers will sponsor the #40 Chevrolet driven by Mike Bliss in Saturday's Scotts Turf Builder 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

“Southern Pride is excited to participate in the Nationwide race at Bristol with the Key Motorsports team,” said a company spokesperson. “We are thrilled to make our first venture into NASCAR racing with Curtis Key, whose Key Motorsports organization shares our integrity and standards.”

Mike Bliss, who has a pair of top-five finishes and only one DNF on his Nationwide record at Bristol, is looking to improve his record at the high-banked Tennessee track.

"Bristol is a good track for us," said Bliss. "I like running there, you have to take care of your equipment to be there at the end. We're glad to have Southern Pride on board with us this week and we want to have a good run for them."
