Carl Edwards was the fastest of the 47 drivers who participated in the first NASCAR Nationwide Series practice today at the Nashville Superspeedway. Reed Sorenson led second practice.
Edwards recorded a lap at 157.209 mph in the early session beating out Brad Keselowski, Justin Allgaier, Jason Leffler and Reed Sorenson, who occupied the top-5 spots on the leader board.
Reed Sorenson's lap at 158.157 mph was the best in final practice. Trevor Bayne, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch completed the top-five fastest cars in evening practice. Qualifying for the Nashville 300 is scheduled for 12:05 pm ET tomorrow with the 300 mile race set to begin at 4:00 pm ET.
