Jason Leffler, driver of the #38 Toyota in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, has been placed on probation by NASCAR for the next three Nationwide races at Phoenix International Raceway, Texas Motor Speedway and the Talladega Superspeedway after being involved in an aggressive driving incident at the Nashville Superspeedway April 3.
According to NASCAR, Leffler violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing – aggressive driving) of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rule Book.
The incident in question occured when Leffler ran James Buescher in the outside wall after the two made contact earlier in the race. MORE NASCAR NEWS
