NASCAR Nationwide Series team owner Curtis Key announced today the addition of TimVote.com to the No. 40 Chevrolet that will be driven by defending race winner Mike Bliss in Saturday's TECH-NET 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
TimVote.com, the website of aspiring Congressman Tim D’Annunzio, whose “Win Back America” message has gained the attention and support of several members of the racing community. “Like our nation's founders he's pledged his life, fortune and sacred honor restoring our nation to its principles,” said former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Lake Speed of D’Annunzio. The TimVote.com Chevrolet will feature a red, white and blue paint scheme this weekend as D’Annunzio prepares for the 8th District Republican run-off June 22nd. Key stated that he "encourages everyone to visit TimVote.com, read Tim's message and what he stands for and make your own decisions." Bliss has scored three top-5's and two wins in Nationwide Series competition at Charlotte Motor Speedway with his most recent finish of second at the 1.5 mile superspeedway in the fall event last season.
