Carl Edwards posted the fastest lap in NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying Saturday morning at Charlotte Motor Speedway, speeding around the 1.5 mile high-banked track at 186.922 mph to grab the pole postion for this afternoon's TECH-NET 300.

Trevor Bayne turned in a lap at 186.188 mph and will start on the outside of the front row.

Brad Keselowski lines up third on today's starting grid with Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne taking the green from the fourth and fifth spots.

Sixth through 10th are Kyle Busch, Steve Arpin, Brian Scott, Jamie McMurray and Steve Wallace.

Derrike Cope, Parker Kligerman, Brian Keselowski and Peyton Sellers did not qualify for the TECH-NET 300.

The TECH-NET 300 will be televised on ABC-TV beginning at 2 pm ET.
