Braun Racing officials announced Wednesday morning Jacques Villeneuve will drive the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota in two upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series events.

Villeneuve is set to strap in for the June 19 event at Road America as well as the August 29 Nationwide race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, named for his father, in Montreal.

The former Formula One World Champion drove for Braun in last years NAPA 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, qualifying sixth and finishing fourth. Villeneuve has two CART wins at Road America.

"It's great to be back driving with Braun Racing and Dollar General," said Villeneuve. "Racing again after an exciting and fun race last year in Montreal, and now to also be doing the race at Elkhart Lake (Road America) where I won my first Indy race is going to be full of good memories! I am very much looking forward to it!"
