Allgaier, Wimmer Lead Nationwide Practices

justin-allgaierJustin Allgaier led the first of two NASCAR Nationwide Series practice sessions for Saturday night's Federated Auto Parts 300 at the Nashville Superspeedway with a fast lap at 156.135 mph.

 

Scott Wimmer, driving the No. 27 Baker-Curb Racing entry, topped the speed chart in the second practice, touring the high-banked oval at 157.286 mph.

 

Jason Leffler, Trevor Bayne, Reed Sorenson and Mike Bliss clocked in second through fifth in first practice.

 

Trevor Bayne, Steve Wallace, Reed Sorenson and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top-five in final practice.

 

Qualifying for the Federated Auto Parts 300 will begin at 5:05 pm ET Saturday afternoon.
