Jacques Villenevue turned the fastest lap in NASCAR Nationwide Series final practice Friday at Road America, driving the No. 32 Braun Racing Toyota around the 4.048-mile course at 106.773 mph.
Tony Ave, sitting in for Jason Keller, posted the second fastest lap in Happy Hour with a lap at 105.855. Justin Allgaier, Patrick Long, Ron Fellows completed the top-five on the speed chart. Brad Coleman edged Ron Hornaday, Jr. in the first practice session of the day, clocking in at 106.334 mph to Hornaday's 106.152 mph. Colin Braun, Michel Jourdain Jr., subbing for Paul Menard and Jacques Villeneuve rounded out the top-five in opening practice.
