Saturday, 26 June 2010 17:45

busch-zlineKyle Busch dominated Saturday's New England 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, leading 126 laps of the 200-lap event to become the all-time lap leader in Nationwide competition, breaking the record previously held by Mark Martin.

"It was a good car, these guys did a great job for me," Kyle Busch told ESPN in Victory Lane.

Busch held off Brad Keselowski for his sixth Nationwide win of 2010, the 36th of his career.

"It's good anytime I can get behind the wheel of one of these things, I enjoy it," said Busch, who cut back his Nationwide Series schedule earlier in the season to focus on winning the Sprint Cup championship.

Carl Edwards, Joey Logano and Trevor Bayne completed the top-five finishers.

Danica Patrick had a tough day, spinning into the wall on lap seven after making contact with Morgan Shepherd. Patrick was able to continue, finishing 30th, five laps behind the winner.

"It was definitely a long day," said Patrick.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series next stop on the 2010 schedule is the Subway 250 at the Daytona International Speedway July 2, 2010.
