dale-earnhardt-jrThe No. 3 Wrangler Jeans Chevrolet that Dale Earnhardt, Jr. drove to victory in the Nationwide Series event at Daytona International Speedway earlier this month is now on display at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. The unveiling of the latest exhibit in the new hall took place during a press conference Wednesday.

The famous car is in the same condition in which it left Daytona's Victory Lane, with many visible remnants of the celebration that followed Dale, Jr.'s popular win on July 2.

Kelley Earnhardt, along with Tony Eury, Jr. and Tony Eury, Sr., attended the press conference. Dale, Jr., who loaned the car to the Hall of Fame, is on vacation and was unable to appear at Wednesday's unveiling.

“It was a special deal and a tribute", said Kelley Earnhardt. "That was Dale’s meaning around it. It was a tribute to our dad."

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has said he does not plan to drive No. 3 again.

Hardcore race fans who want to have an up close look at the No. 3 JR Motorsports Chevrolet should visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame by September 19, 2010.
