Trevor Bayne starts from the pole for the third straight week after claiming the top starting spot for Saturday's U. S. Cellular 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Iowa Speedway.
Bayne is the youngest Nationwide driver to win three straight pole positions, a feat accomplished by Jeff Gordon, Michael Waltrip, Mark Martin and Sam Ard. The 19 year-old driver clocked in at 133.266 mph to edge Kyle Busch, who qualified the JGR Toyota at 133.007 mph. Brian Scott, Brad Keselowski and Steve Wallace line up third through fifth on the starting grid. Eric McClure, Daryl Harr and Johnny Chapman did not make the field. The U.S. Cellular 250 will be shown live on ESPN2 at 7:00 pm ET. MORE NASCAR NEWS
