Jamie McMurray won the Great Clips 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday night, holding the lead as Kyle Busch pulled closer in the final laps to pick up his eighth career NASCAR Nationwide Series victory.
"It was a really good day and Dale Jr. gave me a great opportunity to drive this car," McMurray said in Victory Lane. McMurray, who has also won the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400 this season, led 48 of the 195 lap event. Kyle Busch led the most laps, staying out front for 74 trips around the high-banked speedway. Kyle Busch was unhappy with adjustments made to his car during the last pit stop. "They gave me a good enough car to try to win, but I came up short," Kyle Busch said of his second place finish. Carl Edwards finished third with Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth completing the top-five. MORE NASCAR NEWS
