Kyle Busch won the CampingWorld.com 300 Saturday afternoon at Auto Club Speedway, leading the final 23 laps of the 150-lap event to score his 12th NASCAR Nationwide Series victory of the 2010 season.
Busch overcame a pit road speeding penalty midway through the race and took advantage of mistakes made by Kevin Harvick's crew that dropped Harvick from first to sixth with less than 20 laps remaining. “Pit road probably won this race,” Busch said. “I can’t thank these crew guys enough. To come out there and get number twelve is awesome.” Harvick voiced displeasure with the performance of his pit crew, quoted after the race as saying, "they're doing a horrible job." Brad Keselowski finished second, followed by Harvick, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano. Aric Almirola, Ryan Newman, Justin Allgaier, Mike Bliss and Reed Sorenson rounded out the top-10. Danica Patrick was involved in an accident with James Buescher while running 17th with eight laps left. Patrick finished 30th. MORE NASCAR NEWS
