carl-edwardsCarl Edwards won Saturday's O'Reilly Challenge NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, holding off Kyle Busch for the victory as Brad Keselowski clinched the Nationwide Series title with his third place finish.

A late race caution set the field for a green-white-checkered finish with Edwards pulling away on the restart to win by .702 seconds over Kyle Busch.

"Our car ran perfectly today," said Edwards, who joined race fans in the grandstands after performing his signature backflip.

Team owner Jack Roush was on hand to celebrate Edwards 50th career NASCAR win.

Joey Logano finished fourth and Martin Truex, Jr. fifth.

Keselowski needed to finish 21st or better to put the finishing touches on the 2010 Nationwide championship, the first major NASCAR point title for car owner Roger Penske.

Polesitter James Buescher hit the wall on lap 11 and finished 37th.

Danica Patrick had trouble early and finished 24th.
