Joey Logano starts from the pole in Saturday's Nationwide Series race after setting a new track record in qualifying at Phoenix International Raceway. Logano toured the one-mile track at 134.048 mph to edge Carl Edwards for the inside front row position.
Edwards clocked in at 133.710 mph for the outside pole, followed by Justin Allgaeir, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch fifth.
Other notables include Brad Keselowski 12th and Danica Patrick 28th. Brett Rowe, Eric McClure, Daryl Harr, Kevin Lepage, Chase Miller and Carl Long failed to make the field. MORE NASCAR NEWS
