Carl Edwards cruised to a an easy victory in the Wypall 200 at Phoenix International Raceway, taking the checkered flag more than five seconds ahead of second-place finisher Kevin Harvick.
Edwards, who won last week at Texas, led 153 laps of the 200-lap event. “This is the best driving race car I’ve ever had in the Nationwide series,” Edwards said in Victory Lane. "It was unbelieveable." Joey Logano finished third with Brad Keselowski and Reed Sorenson completing the top-five. Kyle Busch had a strong car but a blown tire forced him to pit road on lap 163. Busch went a lap down on the green flag stop and finished 16th. Aric Almirola and Justin Allgaier were involved in a late race bumping incident late in the race while racing for position. Allgaier slid up the track in turn one after contact with Almirola. The two drivers bumped together again on the cool down lap. Almirola finished sixth, Allgaier crossed the line eighth. The 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season concludes at Homestead next weekend. MORE NASCAR NEWS
