Kyle Busch led the opening round of NASCAR Nationwide Series practice Friday afternoon at Phoenix International Raceway. Busch laid down a lap at 132.275 mph in the No. 18 JGR Toyota.
Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, driving the No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, was second on the leader board with a lap of 132.246 mph.
Ryan Truex clocked in third fastest at 131.315 mph with Carl Edwards fourth and Brad Keselowski fifth of the 40 cars on the track during the one-hour and twenty minute session.
The Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 will run Saturday, February 26 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
