Carl Edwards won the pole for Saturday afternoon’s Royal Purple 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Auto Club Speedway with a fast lap of 174.838 mph.

This is Edwards' second pole of the season and 23rd of his NASCAR Nationwide career. 

Kevin Harvick will line up on the outside of the front row after posting a lap at 174.634 mph.  Aric Almirola starts third, Joey Logano fourth and Brad Keselowski fifth. 

Josh Wise, Kyle Busch, Mark Martin, Trevor Bayne and Justin Allgaier make-up the rest of the top-10.

The Royal Purple 300 will be televised live Saturday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
