Carl Edwards starts Friday night's O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race from the pole after making a lap around the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway at 178.938 mph in qualifying. Brad Keselowski posted a lap at 178.743 mph and starts on the outside of the front row.
Elliott Sadler qualified third fastest followed by Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and Paul Menard.
Trevor Bayne, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne and Aric Almirola completed the top-10.
ESPN2 will broadcast the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 live at 8:30 p.m. ET.
