"Concrete" Carl Edwards passed Kyle Busch with 34 laps remaining and drove to a relatively easy win in Saturday's 300-mile NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. Edwards now has four career wins on the 1.333-mile concrete-surfaced Tennessee track.
"That was really good racing," said Edwards. "That was as clean as we could race."
Edwards was out front on five different occasions and led 148 laps of the 225-lap event. Busch settled for second, crossing the finish line 0.521 seconds behind Edwards.
"We just didn't have quite enough out there today," said Kyle Busch. "It was a good day."
Brad Keselowski finished third followed by polesitter Joey Logano and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.
Trevor Bayne, Austin Dillon, Reed Sorenson, Josh Wise and Aric Almirola completed the top-10.
Justin Allgaier and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. are tied for the 2011 Nationwide point lead as the series heads to Richmond for the Bubba Burger 250 on Friday, April 29th.
