Denny Hamlin, driving the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 Toyota, topped the speed chart in Nationwide Series practice Friday morning at Richmond International Raceway. Hamlin's lap at 123.740 mph was fastest of the 41 drivers who participated in the nearly three-hour session.

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. clocked in second fastest with a lap of 123.198 mph followed by Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski and Kelly Bires.

Qualifying for Friday night's Bubba Burger 250 is set to begin at 4:10 pm this afternoon.
