Matt Kenseth passed Carl Edwards with two laps remaining and held off his Roush teammate for the win in Saturday's Top Gear 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The win is Kenseth's first Nationwide win of 2011 and his third  series career win at Charlotte.

Kenseth drove the No. 16 Ford in substitution of Trevor Bayne while Bayne prepares to return to the seat next weekend at Chicago.

Edwards ran out of fuel just after crossing the finish line and finished second followed by Kyle Busch, polesitter Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and Reed Sorenson.

Completing the top-10 were Brad Keselowski, Steve Wallace, Brian Scott, Aric Almirola and Elliott Sadler.

Former Formula One champion Kimi Raikkonen finished 27th in his Nationwide Series debut.

Elliott Sadler leaves Charlotte with the Nationwide Series point lead with a one point advantage over Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.
