Elliott Sadler topped the speed chart in the first Nationwide Series practice Friday at Michigan International Speedway for Saturday's Alliance Truck Parts 250 while Aric Almirola was fastest in the final session.
Sadler clocked in at 178.860 mph and was followed by Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and Sam Hornish, Jr.
Almirola's lap at 178.121 mph was fastest in the second practice. Keselowski, Stenhouse, Jr., Mark Martin and Paul Menard completed the top-five.
Saturday's 250-mile Nationwide race will be live on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET.
