Jeffrey Earnhardt returns to the high banks of Daytona for Friday night’s Subway Jalapeno 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race behind the wheel of the Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet. It will be Jeffrey’s first Nationwide start at the track that has brought much success to the Earnhardt family.

“I am really excited to race the Fastwax.com Chevy at Daytona for RWR,” stated Earnhardt. “This will be my third race on the newly paved surface at Daytona for 2011. I can’t thank Fastwax.com enough. They have been by my side since 2009 and that means a lot in this industry. Their effort along with RWR to continue to put me behind the wheel is a blessing and I am looking forward to giving them a great run Friday night.”

Several lucky Arena Football fans will be Earnhardt’s guest this weekend at Daytona.

“I got the opportunity to meet the great folks in New Orleans last month at the AFL game,” said Earnhardt. “To experience an Arena Football game was exciting and full of action. Now we get to cross over the AFL fans into NASCAR and have their fans experience the excitement of NASCAR and the action we can provide.”

Earnhardt last visited Daytona during Speedweeks in February and finished seventh in the Truck Series race driving a Rick Ware Racing entry.

Friday’s Subway Jalapeno 250 will be live on ESPN at 7:30 p.m.
