Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. led the opening round of NASCAR Nationwide Series practice Friday morning at Richmond International Raceway while Kyle Busch topped the speed chart in the final Happy Hour session for tonight's Virginia 529 College Savings 250.
Stenhouse recorded a lap at 123.950 mph in the first practice with Brad Keselowski, Kenny Wallace, Trevor Bayne and Carl Edwards completing the top five.
Kyle Busch ran a lap at 122.694 mph to lead Happy Hour. Trevor Bayne, Justin Allgaier, Steve Wallace and Aric Almirola rounded out the top five.
Nationwide qualifying is set for 4:05 p.m. this afternoon in Richmond.
