Brian Scott captured his first career NASCAR Nationwide Series pole in qualifying for Saturday's Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Scott posted a lap at 176.748 mph to edge Brad Keselowski by 0.02 seconds.

Paul Menard starts third followed by Ryan Truex and Elliott Sadler.

Aric Almirola, Sam Hornish Jr., Joey Logano, Trevor Bayne and Carl Edwards rounded out the top-10.

Angela Cope, Brian Keselowski, Jennifer Jo Cobb and Tim Andrews did not qualify.

Today's race will be on ESPN2 at 3:30 p.m.
