Texas winner Trevor Bayne and current point leader Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. led Thursday's opening Nationwide Series practice sessions for Saturday's Wypall 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Bayne's lap of 129.748 mph edged Stenhouse's lap of 129.538 mph to top the speed chart in the first practice.

Elliott Sadler, Carl Edwards and Sam Hornish, Jr. rounded out the top five.

Stenhouse posted a fast lap of 133.422 mph in the second session and was followed by Joey Logano, James Buescher, Sadler and Ryan Truex.

The final Happy Hour practice for Nationwide drivers is set for Friday at 3:40 p.m. ET.
