World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers and teams are busy preparing for a grueling 83-race schedule in 2012 that begins with the invasion of Florida's Volusia Raceway Park on February 17th.

Donny Schatz led a one-two finish for Tony Stewart Racing Saturday night at The Dirt Track at Charlotte to complete a sweep of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series World Finals weekend.

Donny Schatz dominated Friday night's opener of the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, leading all but one lap of the A-Main from the pole.

David Gravel took the lead from polesitter Jason Meyers near the midway point of Saturday night's Sage Fruit Showdown at the Talladega Short Track and went on to claim his first career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main Feature win. The Watertown, Connecticut native ended Meyers’ recent hot streak of five consecutive victories and bested a stellar field that included NASCAR stars Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart.
