Leading all 40 laps of the PolyDome Princeton National at Princeton Speedway, Donny Schatz dominated the competition and earned his second consecutive victory at the venue.

Schatz is the first driver to have two straight wins at the track in series history.

"Princeton has been good to me," Schatz stated. "We've had a lot of fun here. I'm glad to get to Victory Lane again. It's always good."

Taking the lead from polesitter Sam Hafertape Jr. on the first lap and zig zagged his way through lapped traffic en route to his 15th A-Feature win of the season.

"That was one bad piece there in traffic," he exclaimed. "It could run the top, the middle and the bottom at the same speed. That's what its Achilles heel was. It's good to have that and that is how my cars always are. Ricky (Warner) keeps tuning these things and fine tuning little things and finding things to make it better. We're in test mode for next year and it's good to get a win in test mode."

The team has been testing different packages for the 2009 season, but at the same time have been trying to attain this years championship.

"We're trying to win a championship here, but we are also testing for next year," Schatz explained. "We're doing some different things, package-wise. Maybe that is something that has hurt us in the last couple of weeks and maybe it's what helped us win here tonight. That's all part of the game. We're finishing this year, but also looking ahead to next year. That's the fun part."

With seven races left in the 2008 season, Schatz has opened up a 123 point lead over second place Jason Meyers. With the way he has performed this season, he pretty much has this one locked in.

Althought Schatz has been in the spotlight, the two time Series champion does not hesitate to give his crew the credit that they deserve.

"These guys have definitely worked hard," Schatz said. "They eat, sleep, breath and drink this race team and this race car. They definitely deserved it. They have been busting their tails."
