Jason Meyers Collects The Victory In The Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic

With his sixth win of the season, Jason Meyers crossed the finish linfirst in the 20th edition of the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic.

 

This win just put him one out of making the Top-15 all-time list.

 

"We needed this one," Meyers said excitedly. "The guys have been workinreally really hard here lately and we just haven't been getting the jodone at the end of the night. Everyone has stood behind us 100 percent anhasn't wavered one bit.

 

Meyers has been flying under the radar lately and acknowledged the peoplthat stuck behind him.

 

“I really have to thank everyone for sticking behind me and kind opicking us up when we were down a little bit. That's what has brought uback to this point. The "Month of Money" is coming up and we are ready."

 

Starting in the second position, Meyers went on to take the lead froSteve Kinser on the opening lap. Meyers led until on lap 19 Joey Saldanpassed him. Meyers quickly stole the lead back from Saldana, but iSaldana’s favor a caution flag was waved before the lap was completed. Threstart order was arranged by the last completed lap, putting Saldana ufront.

 

"I was just kind of caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and that'just how it goes," Meyers clarified. "Sometimes the flags fall your waand sometimes they don't."

 

Showing his resilience Meyers took the lead away from Saldana once againbut this time it counted. Meyers continued to lead the field until thcheckered waved.

 

After finishing the race, Meyers was presented a $10,000 check by BraDoty and the officials from the University of Northwestern Ohio, Meyerwill always cherish this victory.

 

"It means a lot to me," Meyers said. "I have gotten to know Brad over thyears and he is a great individual. He is a great all around person, nojust for the sport, but as a guy to know. To put our name on that list ivery special and something I will always cherish."
