Joey Saldana drove his Kasey Kahne owned Maxim to back to back World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series victories at the Dodge City Raceway Park in Kansas on Friday and Saturday night.

The popular Indiana driver led the final 23 laps of the 30 lap feature and made it look easy Friday night but had to overcome a blown engine in hot laps and a 3 hour rain delay during the race to win his 10th World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series A - Feature of the year before a standing room
only crowd Saturday night.

"My guys did an awesome job," Saldana said in victory lane Saturday night. "We blew up in hot laps and made a pretty quick motor change. We didn't get to work on our car and definitely didn't have the best car. I guess we led the lap that mattered most. My guys did a tremendous job tonight. I don't know too many teams that could have pulled that off. This all goes out to them."

The weekend sweep at Dodge City moved Saldana to second in the World of Outlaws championship points battle. Saldana currently leads the Outlaws win column for the 2009 season and is the Outlaws winningest driver at Dodge City with 4 victories after winning at the fast dirt track twice in
2008.

Current points leader Donny Schatz finished second Saturday night after gaining some ground on Saldana in the final laps but coming up 18-thousandths of a second short at the checkerds.

"That was the only chance I really had, when we got to a little traffic," said Schatz. "It was just one of those nights."
