cody-darrahCody Darrah, the young driver who recently signed to drive for Kasey Kahne Racing for the 2010 World of Outlaws Sprint Car season, reportedly suffered a broken leg in a passenger car accident on Saturday.

Exact details of the accident are unclear but the break will require surgery.

Darrah’s Kasey Kahne Racing teammate Brad Sweet filled in behind the wheel of the No. 91 during the series’ season opener at Volusia Speedway Park Saturday night. Sweet finished 14th in the 30-lap A-Main feature event.

The race would have been Darrah's first in his rookie year with the Outlaws.
