NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and World of Outlaws team owner Kasey Kahne will add race promotion to his resume next month.
Kasey’s King mini-series in Showdown for the Bud Crown will be a series of three events beginning with Kasey’s King of Bulls Gap Presented By Budweiser at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. March 19th and 20th. “I am really excited to bring World of Outlaws racing back to Volunteer Speedway,” Kahne said. “The last time the Outlaws raced at Bulls Gap, the track was packed with fans, the racing was unreal, and Joey Saldana got the victory. I believe we can put on another incredible show for all the racing fans in the area.”
The triple header mini-series will pick up again on June 16th at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo. where Kahne will compete in addition to his promoter’s duties. The final date, July 8th, has been set but a track has yet to be chosen. However, the location will be somewhere in Illinois. Tickets for the first event in Bulls Gap are available through www.worldofoutlaws.com/sprint or by calling 704-795-7223. For only $59 hardcore race fans can get reserved seats for both nights of competition, a pit pass and access to a special Q&A session with Kahne. MORE WORLD OF OUTLAWS NEWS
