craid-dollanskyCraig Dollansky worked his way around point leader Jason Meyers in the final eight laps to capture Friday night's World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main Feature at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington.

“We tried quite a few different things after Pevely (I-55 Raceway) and I think tonight is the first time we’ve been in the dash since then,” said Dollansky. “We finally got our setup’s back to where they were and what a difference it made. We set Quick Time on the night and won this race. The track was awesome tonight because it really opened up on the top and bottom. I’ve got to thank my crew, Big Game Treestands, Aggressive Hydraulics, Aeroquip and Karavan Trailers. It’s always a team effort when you win. We dug ourselves into a hole as far as the points go earlier on in the season during that first swing in Canada. Now we’re trying to catch up and put as many wins on the board as we can.”

Dollansky started fourth and passed Meyers for the lead on lap 23 of the 30-lap contest.

“I gave this one away tonight,” said Meyers. “We led earlier on and my crew gave me an awesome car. It was just on me tonight. I want to thank our partners DDNi/Media-Tile/Allstar Performance and GLR Investments. My parents are out here so hopefully we can rebound from this and go after the win again tomorrow night.”

Steve Kinser finished third with polesitter Jason Sides and Paul McMahan rounding out the top-five.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action tonight at Skagit Speedway before heading to Cottage Grove Speedway in Oregon on Monday.
