Craig Dollansky beat Sammy Swindell and Donny Schatz to the line in a three-wide finish Friday night at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa to collect his ninth World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main Feature of the season.

“Everytime you win it’s always a team effort,” said Dollansky. “We had some breaks fall our way and it’s always great to get a win and to get our ninth this year is really saying something. I felt like I gave one away at Antioch (Speedway) on Monday and it was a long ride back from California thinking about it. My guys did an awesome job building a new car without a whole lot of time since we tore one up. I just can’t thank everyone enough that helps us out from Big Game Treestands to Aggressive Hydraulics to Aeroquip and Karavan Trailers.”

Schatz took the lead at the drop of the green and held it until Bill Rose got by on lap 12. Dollansky, who started seventh in the 24-car field, worked his way past Rose on lap 16 of the 30-lap contest and survived a late-race restart with two laps remaining to take the victory.

“I don’t think I’ve ever had a three wide finish at the line,” said Swindell after finishing second to his teammate. “What a great night for Big Game Tree Stands to have the top-2 spots. We were coming towards the end. We had a good car all night and that’s nothing to be ashamed of. Congratulations to Craig and his team.”

Donny Schatz, Kraig Kinser and local favorite Mark Dobmeier rounded out the top five.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action Saturday night, September 17th at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
